Mrs. Ruth E. Reeves, of Worthington, age 92, passed away Monday January 29, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband Morton Y. Reeves. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Marylin (Lee) Leprich of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Sally (Dr. Donald) Lewis of Upper Arlington; her grandchildren, Deborah Nelson, Elizabeth Murphy, Stephen Lewis and Jeffrey Lewis; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Ruth was an active and loyal volunteer at Inniswood Gardens. She was a member of the Central Ohio Unit of the Herb Society of America, Columbus Bar Auxiliary, Worthington-Sonata Unit of the Columbus Symphony, Pilot Dogs Board and Buckeye Ranch Sustaining Board II. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington, 614-885-4006. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2001 at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 772 High St., Worthington, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Richard J. Milford officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Woodrow Room. The family requests memorial contributions may be made to Inniswood Gardens, 940 S. Hempstead Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43081 in Ruth's memory.
