Stanley Ulrich Robinson, Jr., attorney, age 79, passed away Monday, April 22, 1996. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise Thompson Robinson; 4 children, Stanley U. Robinson III (and partner, Lois Voltmer), David Robinson (and wife, Lyn), Susan Robinson, Cicily Sweet (and husband, Dave); 6 grandchildren, Geoff, Ted, and Matt Robinson, Todd Dobbs, and Kevin and Paul Sweet; 3 step-grandchildren, Anne Willis (and husband Cornelius), Karen and Heather Hartley; and 2 step great-grandchildren, Bailey and Louisa Willis. He is also survived by and predeceased by countless dear friends. Stan was born (June 1, 1916) and raised in Worthington, Ohio. Stan will long be remembered for his integrity. He was tireless in his personal and professional quest for Justice, Peace and Racial Equality, Stan also held a great love for the outdoors. A Quaker Memorial Service will be held on May 18, 10:30 a.m. at Westerville North High School, 950 County Line Road. Donations to the North Columbus Friends Meeting, 1954 Indianola Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43201, Fellowship of Reconciliation, P.O. Box 271 Nyack, N.Y. 10960 or other charity are requested in lieu of flowers.
