Survived by wife, Grace B.; son, Robert Carlos, Westerville; daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Jean Berry, Westerville, Mrs. Margaret Suzanne Tate, nags head, N.C.; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carter H. Rucker, Miami, Fla, Frank L. Rucker, Westerville; sister, Mrs. Ethelinda Shaw, Ft. Myers, Fla. Associated with Case and West Insurance Agency, 40 years, retiring in 1962. Attended Rio Grande College. Graduated from Ohio University. Daughter and coached athletics in New Lexington, Portsmouth and Sioux City, Iowa; also, Know County Schools and Mansfield City Schools Systems. Veteran of WWI. Past commander Leasure-Blackstne Post American Legion. 50 year member of American Legion. Former chaplain of Capital City Barracks no. 461 WWI. 50 year member of New England Lodge Np. 4, F and AM. Life member of the Downtown Sertoma Club. Ohio U. Alumni Association, holder of the covetted Certificate of Merit of the Ohio U. Alumni Association. Member of Church of the Messiah U.M., Westerville. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Messiah U.M., Westerville. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Chunk officiating.
