Lucille Warren Schmidt, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away December 12, 2015. She was born March 6, 1924 in Romeo, Michigan to Harvey Lee and Mabel Warren. She married Dana R. Schmidt in 1947. She enjoyed politics, flower gardening, weekends in the Hocking Hills, and bowling with her team, the "Nuthatches." She was an accomplished quilter and seamstress. She volunteered for many years at the Columbus Cancer Clinic's Worthington Thrift Shop and was a member of the Women's Circle at Worthington United Methodist Church. Lucille will be remembered as a very generous and charitable person who bettered the lives of many less fortunate than herself. Lucille is survived by children, Donald (Kathy), Jonathan, Bruce (Sue), Laura (Tim Collins) and Douglas (Maggie) Schmidt; grandchildren, Mason (Maluszka), Andrew, Thomas, Kelly, and Jonathan Schmidt; and great-granddaughter, Olive Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers. Family will receive friends on Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME 515 N.
