SHORT Eileen Stroupe Short, age 92, of Worthington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 3, 2012. Born in Tarlton, OH to Howard and Ruth Stroupe. Preceded in death by her husband Haskell Short, sisters Betty Irwin and Margaret Haxby, brothers Edwin Stroupe and Howard Stroupe Jr. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Joan Short of Seville, OH, Tom and Roz Short of Worthington, OH; grandchildren, Travis (Richelle) Short of Norton, OH, Sarah (Carlos) Garcia of Orlando, FL, Steve Short, Dan (Ally) Short, Christine (Jonathan) Kimball, Tim Short, all of Columbus, OH; great grandson, Benjamin Short. Graduate of Worthington High School class of '38 and of The Ohio State University. Charter member of North Community Lutheran Church, member of Worthington Women's Club. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St, Worthington where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday with calling an hour prior. Interment to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery
