Skinner (Theado) Joanne D. Skinner, 88, of Delaware, formerly of Worthington, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at The Inn at Olentangy Trail. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 2, 1927 to the late Raymond and Dorothy Schumacher Theado. Joanne was a graduate of South High School and proud graduate of The Ohio State University, Class of 1948 where she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. She taught 1st grade at Avondale Elementary School before leaving to raise her family. Joanne was a former volunteer at The School for the Blind and Riverside Methodist Hospital and a former member of the Worthington Hills Garden Club as well as a faithful Buckeye Fan. She loved to travel the world with her husband of 66 years Robert who preceded her in death this past September. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she was generous and kind to all that she knew and met. She will be dearly missed by her children, Lynn Logan, Lori Lee and Corey (Holly) Skinner; granddaughters, Jacky Skinner, Erica and Andrea Lee; Brother, Donald (Barbara) Theado; two nieces, nephews and their families. Special thanks to longtime dear friends, Tom Littleton, Betty Jo and Pete Vining. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday, March 10th at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where friends may visit 1 hour prior. Pastor Mark Dettmer, officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight Columbus, P.O.
