Mary Lydia (Boyd) Snouffer, age 88, of 102 W. Heffner St., Delaware, Ohio, Died Saturday, November 11, 1995, in the emergency room at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born August 31, 1907, in Orange Township, to Charles Boyd and Anna (Bale) Boyd, and spent most of life in Worthington, Oh., before moving to Delaware two and on-half years ago. Mrs. Snouffer was former co-owner of Snouffer Dry Cleaners, Worthington, Oh., and as a member of Worthington Grace Brethren Church, OES. And BPW, all in Worthington. Survived by her husband, Raymond C.; a son Richard K.; a daughter, Verna Mae Walke, all of 102 W. Heffner St.; five grandchildren, Chet, Bret, and Gregg Snouffer, Kathatune Gillespie, and Brad Walke; and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at William Street UMC, where family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the service. The Revs. Norman Snook and Ronald Hooker will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, Oh. A reception at the church will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Delaware County Chapter, 5 W. Winter St., Delaware. Robinson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
