THOMPSON Effie Marie Thompson, age 91, of Marengo and Shawnee Hills, February 18, 2010. Preceded in death by husband Lewis Thompson, son Robert Adams, daughters Bertha Brown and JoAnne Thompson. She is survived by her children, Mary Lou Chase, of Johnstown, Carol (Rick) Morris, of Marengo, Tommy Thompson, of Columbus, Jerry (Debbie) Thompson, of Columbus, Lou Ann Thompson, of Columbus; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; special nephew, Rodney Park; as well as many other nieces and nephews. Effie's family would like to thank the staff of Columbus Colony Elderly Care for all of the attention and care they gave over the last year. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010.
