Van Dyke (Walsh) Cleo Van Dyke, age 89, of Columbus, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home. Cleo is preceded in death by her husband Herbert A. Van Dyke, Sr., parents W. Hobart and Hazel Walsh, sister Lucille Herrnstein, her beloved dog "Corkie", and many close friends. She is survived by her children, Herbert A. Van Dyke, Jr. (Janice) of Florida, Sherrell (Sherry) Van Dyke, Susan Rollison (Steve) and Patricia (Pat) Van Dyke; grandchildren, Jeffrey Van Dyke (Tamara), Jacquelyn (Jacki) Smith and great-grandchild, Lukas Smith, all of Columbus. Cleo was a longtime member of North United Methodist Church, a former Girl Scout Leader, a member of Corinthian Chapter No. 393, Order of the Eastern Star and an active participant in the 14th Armored Division Women's Auxiliary. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OhioHealth Hospice, 180 E.
