WARNER Alice N. Warner passed away on May 3, 2012 at the Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus. She was 95. Born and raised in Oneonta, New York, she was the daughter of the late William C. Noble and Bertha Yager Noble. Alice graduated from the Ohio State University College of Agriculture in Home Economics in 1939. She married in 1940 and lived in the Columbus and Worthington areas the rest of her life. The Warners farmed for many years and owned Warner's Farm Market in Linworth. She was an active member of the Griswold Senior Center and was a member of the Fishinger & Kenny Church of Christ. She is remembered for her sweet and gentle nature, her faith in God and her love for family. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Dwight Warner of Worthington; son, William G. Warner (Jan) of Richardson, TX; daughter, Jane C. Martin (Gary) of Worthington; son, Dwight D. Warner (Cathy) of Plano, TX; grandson, Andrew Warner assigned to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay; and grand-daughters, Alison Warner and Carlyanne Campbell (Chris) of Wylie, TX, Laura Warner of Richardson, TX; and great-grandson, Charles Campbell of Wylie, TX. She was predeceased by her parents and her two sisters Ruth Howe and Doris Gallup. Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Greg Tidwell officiating. Private family interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Alice's church or Willow Brook Christian Home.
