WHITE Ellen Allen White, age 85, a longtime resident of Upper Arlington, died Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Mill Run Care Center after an extended illness. She was born November 18, 1917 in Greenfield, Ohio the daughter of Rolland T. and Emily (Fullerton) Allen. She attended Greenfield McClain School, and Upper Arlington High School, graduating in the Class of 1934. She received her B.A. degree from The Ohio State University. She was a member of Lane Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ronald White in 2000. Ellen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Stephanie White of Vermilion, Oh.; grandchildren, Brian (Nina) White of Columbus, Lisa (Ed) Choung of Suffolk, Va., Kelly (Bill) Sweeney of Baltimore, Md., and Ben (Ashley) White of Delaware, Oh.; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Jim) Owen of Upper Arlington; brother; Jim (Libby) Allen of Columbus; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2002 at Lane Avenue Baptist Church, 1610 W. Lane Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43221, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Dr. Wayne Nicholson will officiate. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Lane Avenue Baptist Church in her memory.
