WHITE Margaret S. White, age 82, longtime resident of Worthington died Thursday, January 25, 2007, at First Community Village. She was the daughter of the late, W. G. Stover, Professor of Botany at OSU and Avis Crawford Stover. As a young career gal fresh out of OSU she moved to Cincinnati to write copy for Shilito's Department Store. She retired from Worthington High School where she was a Librarian for many years. Preceded in death by husband Earl L. White and brother W. Wallace Stover. Survived by children, Martin E. (Vanessa) White, Megan (John) Northrup, Matthew (Laura) White; grandchildren, Jennifer Leston, Michael Leston, Elizabeth White and Natalie White; sister-in-law, Virginia Stover; nephews, Stephen and Timothy Stover. She graduated from North High School, The Ohio State University and received a degree in Library Science from Ohio Dominican. Member of Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board, Child Conservation League and enjoyed her Garden Club and Bridge Club. Margaret loved to travel and in her travels she saw all 50 states. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington. Private interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio or a charity of your choice in her memory.
