WICKLINE Ruth Beatrice Wickline, age 93, a resident of Westerville, died Sunday, February 28, 2010. She was born April 6, 1916 in Martins Ferry, OH. She graduated from Martins Ferry High School class of 1934, attended Rio Grande and graduated from OSU with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1956. She was a Columbus Public School teacher for over 30 years. While at Rio Grande she met her husband Donald and they were married March 14, 1936. She loved reading, raising kids, traveling, hot dogs, candy and desserts. Her favorite past time was going to gambling boats with her daughter just to people watch. She loved having her family on Sunday mornings for a pancake breakfast. Among her passions were eating out. She will be greatly missed by her entire family. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, two sisters, husband Donald and grandson Michael Scott Davis. She is survived by children, Mary Lou Hoyer, Larry (Jo Ann) Wickline, Judy (George) Bowman; seven grandchildren, Laura Wickline, Dwight (Lindy) Davis, Ernest (Angela) Davis, Richard (Amy) Bowman, Donald (Kim) Bowman, Ruth (Richard) String, Jennifer Bowman; 12 great- grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270), where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
