Marion Ellsworth "Ellis" Wildman, age 100, of Winter Park, Florida and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed peacefully Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Ellis retired from data management at Columbus Coated Fabrics. He is preceded in death by his wife Hazel Wildman, parents James and Sarah Wildman and brother James Wildman. Ellis is survived by his daughters, Patricia Payne of Columbus and Dorothy (Capt. David Arms, USN Ret.) Arms of Winter Park, Florida; grandchildren, Mark (Sally) Payne, Marcia (Otto) Schmidt, David Arms, Jeffrey (Sue) Arms and Nancy (Robert) Maisenholder; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Laura, Aaron, Allison, Brittany, Courtney, Danielle, Sarah, Emily, Rachel, Abigail and Allison; sister-in-law, Ernestine Wildman; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Indianola Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon for many years. Ellis was also a US Army veteran, serving in World War II. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington with Dr. Joel Baer, officiating. Interment immediately following the service at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
