WILL Donald E. Will, age 88 of Worthington, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born September 12, 1922 in Pomeroy, OH to the late Emmett and Norma (Windon) Will. Donald was a retired accountant and auditor for A & P Stores after 25 years of service, he also retired from IRD Mechanalysis. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, serving in General Patton's 3rd Army, and a 1948 graduate of The Ohio State University. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers James and Wyatt Will and his sister Genevieve McFarland. His survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty; children, Karen (Dennis) Karshner and Mark (Janice) Will; grandchildren, Lindsey (Brad) Rethman, Lt. Logan Karshner and Jarrod Will, and other relatives and friends. Donald was a member of Grace Brethren Church and he was a life member of the WWII Memorial, and a member of Southway Post No. 144 American Legion. He was also a participant of the Central Ohio Honor Flight and Pastor Pifer's Monday Bible Study. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 1 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 where a funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
