WILSON (SECOY) Jo Ellen Secoy Wilson. Born May 16, 1933 in Kenton, Ohio, ended her stay on our Earth on July 30, 2012, after several years of treatment for End Stage Renal Disease. Her parents were Charles and Esther Hunter Secoy (deceased). Jo graduated as valedictorian from Troy High School, Troy, Ohio, in 1951. She attended Ohio State University, where she was a member of music and academic honoraries. Jo withdrew from OSU in 1954 to attend and subsequently graduate from the Physical Therapy program at The Cleveland Clinic. She married Ray Wilson in 1955. Jo was a practicing therapist at (then) Columbus Children's Hospital, University of Buffalo Chronic Disease Research Institute and Memorial Hospital in Niagara Falls, NY. An accomplished musician, Jo sang, played piano and several other instruments, and attended OSU on a voice scholarship. In high school and university she performed in bands, orchestras, and choruses, and later was a member of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Jo was a member of Brookside Country Club. (She had two holes in one, and converted the 7-10 split.) Jo is survived by Ray, beloved and loving husband of 56-plus years; daughters, Kate Boeve of Holland, MI, (children, Laurel, Mac and Jessica); Sarah Wilson of Dublin; Gwen Wilson-Heyer of Upper Arlington (husband, Dan Heyer, daughter, Jocelyn Fiscus, children, Gabe and Emma Heyer); sister, Diane Secoy-Smith (husband, Alan) Regina, Saskatchewan; sister, Susan Reiser (husband, John), Carson City, Nevada; sister-in-law, Marian Wilson, Clearlake, CA (children, Lisa, Chris and Michelle Silva). Jo loved, enjoyed and treasured her family and friends and will be deeply missed by them. She enjoyed golf, bowling, bridge, music, embroidery, OSU sports and travel with Ray. She says goodbye to best dog Zoe and snuggle cat Natty Bumpo. Special thanks to Geoffrey C.
