WOLF Mary E. Wolf, age 97, July 30, 2006, Wesley Glen Health Care Center. Preceded in death by husband H. Lawrence Wolf Sr. Survived by daughter, Barbara J. Wolf, Columbia, Mo.; sons, H. Lawrence Wolf Jr. (Patricia), San Jose, Calif., Richard L. Wolf (Joyce), Columbus, Oh.; grandchildren, Kathryn Hopp (David), Jennifer Wolf-Schraml (Joseph) and Douglas Wolf, all of San Jose, Calif., Cynthia Wolf, Columbus and Carolyn Ashmore (Jeffrey), Galena, Oh.; great-grandchildren, Megan and Emma Hopp, Nicole, Melissa and Michael Schraml, all of San Jose, Calif. and Hannah Ashmore of Galena, Oh. She is survived by 3 nieces. She was born in Bellefontaine, Oh. before moving to Columbus over 96 years ago. She was a retired Food Service Manager for Columbus Public Schools where she served for over 33 years. She was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1927. She was a member of Fourth Avenue Christian Church (Disciples) for over 90 years. She was very active and served in many different areas including Church Sunday School Secretary, Treasurer of Christian Women's Fellowship, and in charge of many Church dinners. She volunteered at NNEMAP Food Pantry and served on its Board for many years. The family will receive friends at WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St., Thursday, August 3, 2006 from 12-1:30 p.m. with service starting 1:30 p.m. Rev. Joe Bliffen officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fourth Avenue Christian Church Memorial Fund, 296 W. Fourth Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43201 in her name. The family is grateful to the entire staff at Wesley Glen Health Care Center for the loving and compassionate care given to our mother. The family appreciates the care given by the Heartland Hospice staff.
