Richard "Dick" Woods, 85 of Worthington, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022. Richard graduated from Worthington High Schools, Captain of his basketball team, other sports Track and golf. Attended Ohio State University and Joined the United States Navy in 1957 for several years. He is survived by his wife Sally Q. Woods; daughter, Kimberly Sue Woods Ulery and her husband Scott Ulery; grandson, Zachary Ulery and his wife Jen and great grandson Calvin Ulery; youngest daughter, Hollianne Woods Kanoski; close friend, Stephen Styborski; granddaughter, Erica Kanoski Zwick and her husband Brian Zwick; great grandbabies: Hadley, Ryder, Ashton and Brooks Zwick; youngest granddaughter, Jessica Kanoski Hultberg and her husband Clay Hultberg; great granddaughter, Parker; and great grandson, Jack Hultberg. Richard worked for AEP Electric over 30 years. Loved playing golf and basketball, a true athlete. Most of all he loved being with his family. His love, generosity and spending time with his family will be missed more than ever. Until we are together again, rest peacefully. We love you so very much, for always and forever. Private service will include close family. He will be laid to rest in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington with full military honors.
