Death of Miss Cynthia Wright
The sad news of the death of Miss Cynthia Wright reached our village on last Monday. Miss Wright went to Indianapolis a couple months ago, where she has been taking treatment for heart and liver trouble. She has been a sufferer for sometime, and died on Monday morning at 12:05 o’clock. Miss Wright was a native of this palace and has lived here all of her life. She was in her 71st year. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal church and was a very active worker until a few years ago, when her health was so poor that she was unable to get away from home. She has always been a very liberal supporter of the church and will be greatly missed by the society. Her remains were brought to Worthington on Tuesday, by her brother, George Wright, of Chicago, Ill., who with another brother, Mason Wright, of Danville, Ill., survive her. The funeral took place at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, from her late residence on Main street, and was conducted by Rev. N.N. Badger. Interment at Walnut Grove cemetery.
