Betty Christine Will, age 92,passed away Sunday January 28, 2018 at her residence at Worthington Christian Village. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edgar and Wilma (Case). Betty was a retired school teacher with the Hilliard City School District after 25 years of service. She was a graduate of the Columbus West High School, Class of ‘34 and The Ohio State University ‘39.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald E. Will and her brothers Jack Moore, Ed Moore, her sisters Jennie Morgan and Thelma Moore.
Her survivors include her children Karen (Dennis) Karshner of Ashville, Ohio and Mark (Janice) Will of Westerville, Ohio. Grandchildren include Lindsey (Brad) Rethman, Lt. Commander Logan (Michelle) Karshner, and Jarrod Will (Fiancee Carissa Peters), 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Betty attended church services regularly at Worthington Christian Village and is a previous member of Grace Bretheren Church in Worthington. Friends may, if they wish, contribute to the Worthington Christian Village or the WWII Honor Flight. Friends may call on Thursday February 1, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where a funeral service will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 at 11:00am, with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
