Edwin V. Griswold (b. 1879, d. 1950) was the tenth of fourteen children born to Worthington F. Griswold and Fondelia Ruth Griswold. He was a member of the 1897 graduating class of Worthington High School, and attended Ohio State University Law School. He practiced law in Seattle, WA, and then entered Seabury Western Seminary in Evanston, IL, serving as rector for Holy Cross-Immanuel, St. Matthews, and St. Elizabeth's in Chicago, IL. Edwin Griswold married Olive L. Snyder of Chillicothe, OH.
