Paul Somers and Bill Harmon admire Alfred Tibor's sculpture "First Flight" outside of the Griswold Center on the northwest quadrant of the Village Green. The sculpture became the City of Worthington's first piece of city-owned public art.

Alfred Tibor was a renowned sculptor and survivor of the Holocaust. Born in Hungary, he came to the United States in 1957, where he worked as a successful commercial illustrator before turning to sculpture in 1973. His sculptures are displayed throughout Columbus and the United States as well as at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem.
