Herbert Griswold (b. 1882, d. 1956) was one of fourteen children of Worthington F. Griswold and Fondelia Ruth Griswold. He was a plumber and building contractor by trade, residing in the Worthington area all his life. He married Jeanette D. Phillips. They had four daughters, Mila J. Griswold, Grace H. Griswold (Roper), Helen C. Griswold (Kish), and Edith F. Griswold (Proudly).
