Worthington Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution is the Contributor.

In accordance with the objectives of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) which are Historic, Educational and Patriotic, the Worthington Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution presented eleven historic flags to the Worthington Schools in 1976. Students at each school participated in patriotic programs. The program pictured here took place at Wilson Hill Elementary School on June 1, 1976. Each flag was displayed and a story of the historic significance of each flag was read by students. The flags included: Rattlesnake Flag (1775), Flag of Second Connecticut Regiment (1775), Flag of Bedford Minutemen (April 19, 1775), Grand Union Flag (January 2, 1776), Bunker Hill Flag (June 16, 1776), Hulbert Flag - six pointed star (June 14, 1777), Betsy Ross Flag (June 14, 1777), Bennington Flag (August 16, 1777), Fort McHenry Flag (September 13, 1814), Centennial Flag (1876) and the 48 Star Flag (1912).
The flags were rotated throughout the school system the following year.
