Rain could not dampen the spirits of parade spectators for the Worthington Bicentennial Homecoming Parade, which was held on the 5th of July, 2003. While Worthington traditionally holds a large Memorial Day Parade annually, the City of Worthington had not held an official Independence Day Parade in the past. The Homecoming Parade celebrated Worthington's founding in 1803 and its 200 year history.
