Colonel Charles (Woody) F. Wilson (b. 1908, d. 1970), was the son of Harry & Hazel Wilson. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1926, and then graduated in aviation photography at Chanute Field, Rantoul, Illinois in 1928. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 1949. At that time he was stationed in Washington, lived in Arlington, VA and commanded a photo unit.
