This photograph captures Henry P. Pinney (b. 1843, d. 1861), son of James and Esther Minerva Walker Pinney, in childhood. During his lifetime, the family lived on a farm west of the Olentangy River. Pinney died at age 18 and is buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The image is located in a Pinney Family Bible that is part of the Worthington Historical Society collections.
