The Snouffer family is pictured at an early home; (back center in the window) John, Stanley, (standing l - r) Nell, Bess, Joey, Frank, Deak, (sitting l - r) Ellen, Peal, Joeseph, and Leila. The house was a log structure which was located on the west side of the Olentangy River. The Snouffer family owned tracks of land in the area of west Sharon Township and east Perry Township. John H. Snouffer (not pictured), an Uncle, was the first Snouffer to move into Sharon Township. He was the last surviving Civil War Veteran in Worthington, passing away in 1939.
