Worthington High School students wore pep rally ribbons such as this one, a simple design made of crate paper and construction paper, to show team spirit during sporting events. During the 1945 school year the Worthington High School football team tied with Grove City for the Franklin County Championship. Worthington had athletic teams during the school year were (boys) football, varsity basketball, reserve basketball, track, and golf, (girls) baseball, volleyball, basketball, varsity cheerleading, and reserve cheerleading.
