Worthington High School's 1946 senior class play was Kenneth White's "The Visitor" a mystery in three acts, which had been presented in a Broadway run of 23 performances in October - November 1944 at Henry Miller's Theatre (New York). The senior class secured presentation rights for a one night performance at the Worthington Elementary School auditorium. "The Visitor" was based on a novel by the same name, written by Carl Randau and Leane Zugsmith.
