Boy Playing Baseball

Color photo of a boy playing baseball

Description

This color photograph shows a white boy of about 10-12 years old playing baseball. He appears to have just swung the bat at a ball, and is taking a step forward and looking down over his shoulder with the bat extended towards the upper right of the photo. He is wearing a gray baseball uniform, with a blue baseball cap, black belt, socks and sneakers. He stands on a dirt baseball diamond, with a corner of the backstop fence visible in the left of the photo, with grass lawn, street, sidewalk, bushes, trees, and portions of a couple of homes in the background.

The picture was most likely taken on the Hartford athletic field, and was possibly a Little League game, tryouts or training.
