Guests of the Bicentennial Heritage Ball dressed in formal black tie, or period costume enjoyed an evening of dining and dancing at the Griswold Center. Dances included the Waltz, the Polka, square and contra dancing. Funds raised from the event benefited the Worthington Educational Foundation. The ball has continued as an annual fundraising event.
