BAKER Robert E. Baker, age 67, of Columbus, died at his home on October 19, 2009. Veteran U.S. Army. Worked for Brun Sensor Systems and Liebert for many years. Preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Calvin Baker and brother John Baker. Bob is survived by his aunt, Margaret (Chester) Armstrong; cousin, Carolyn (Bob) Roark, all of Walton, Ky.; and great friends, Paul (Elyse) Chambers of Columbus. He is a 1959 graduate of Worthington High School, member of Good Guys Rod and Custom Association. Bob enjoyed spending time with his friends and other car fanatics. His pride and joy was his 1939 Ford One Ton Panel Truck. Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. 43085, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in Bob's memory to Nationwide Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, Oh. 43272-5117.
