Clarrissa E. Maynard (b. 1833, d. 1862) was the first wife of Devoss Maynard (b. 1833, d. 1887). Clarrissa was born in Westerville, OH. She and Devoss Maynard had two children, Eugene Moses Maynard and Charles Maynard. Clarrissa was buried in the Maynard famliy plot in Walnut Grove Cemetery and is listed in the cemetery records as "Clara" E. Lenhart Maynard. Devoss Maynard was the son of Moses Maynard Jr. (b. 1792, d. 1862), an early settler of Worthington who migrated here in the first decade of the 1800s from Massachusetts with his father Moses Maynard Sr. (b. 1755, d. 1834).
