Pictured in this color photograph is a table of food at the wedding of librarian Rachel Alexander at the Old Worthington Library, May 8, 1985. The food, which was provided by staff, includes cold cuts, pickles, bread and rolls, olives, dips and vegetable trays. The table is covered by a tablecloth and has lit candles and a centerpiece of lavender flowers.

At the time, the Old Worthington Library was the only location of Worthington Libraries. Alexander's wedding to Bob Foulk took place that evening after the library closed, with Worthington mayor Lawrence Braun serving as officiant.

Alexander worked for Worthington Libraries from 1976 to 1985, and again from 1997 to 2008; during that time she served many roles, including community services librarian, children’s librarian, youth services manager and youth services materials selector.
