Merite Near Rader Snouffer (b. 1886, d. 1969) was the second wife of Stanley Snouffer. Mert was the mother of Worthington architect Paul Snouffer and step mother to Steve, Elmer, Ray, and Leslie Snouffer. She was one of the founding members of the Worthington Women's Club and active member of the Worthington United Methodist Church. She was the operator of the Worthington Inn for several years, including during World War II.
