In this photograph, the family of John Quincy Wilcox poses outside in 1893. From left to right are children Hiram Wilcox, who is holding the horses (b. 1874, d. 1942), George (b. 1890, d. 1951), Nora (b. 1877, d. 1939), Josephine (b. 1877, d. 1972); Ida "Jennie" (b. 1883, d. 1962), Daniel (b. 1881, d. 1972) and parents Stella Vining Wilcox (b. 1858, d. 1904) holding baby Orville (b. 1893, d. 1982) and John Quincy Wilcox (b. 1853, d. 1926). Estella Vining Wilcox, granddaughter of William Vining and Huldah Pinney Vining, who came to Worthington with the Scioto Company, inherited land on the west side of the Olentangy River where she lived with her husband John and their children.
