Also, a group of students got to take a summer trip through the eastern seaboard.

Page 2 features a new column in the paper, "Write On" which allows students to share their opinions and they explain the criteria for this column. Included is an interview the Chronicle had with the incoming principal and his focus on student involvement.

Page 3 showcases the senior spotlight on Wayne Wheatley, a record reviews on the Who and Aretha Franklin, and a poem titled, "The Other Side".

Page 4 is the sport section covering cross country, football, freshman football as well as advertisements.
