The fourth annual Worthington High School variety show was "Circus Glitter", performed two nights at the Worthington Elementary School Auditorium, which was decorated with circus banners, balloons, and posters to transform it into a circus tent atmosphere. The show was divided into two sections, "Outside the Big Top" and "Under the Big Top". The variety show was directed by vocal music teacher, Miss Jean Parks, accompanied by a circus band directed by Mr. Alan Williams, instrumental music teacher. Student cast members gave a preview of the variety show in costume on the Village Green one week prior to the event.
