"Forward with Brotherhood" was the theme of a program sponsored by St. John A.M.E. Church and held at the Worthington United Methodist Church in February, 1969. The event featured speakers, musical performances and art displays. This booklet was prepared for distribution at the program. It includes historical highlights of St. John A.M.E. Church, as well as a history of African Americans in the Worthington area. The event was held in observance of Negro History Week, which became known as Black History Week in the early 1970s and established as Black History Month in 1976.
